Designed with the mantra ‘Rejected by the previous owner, rescued and reborn by Southeast Saga’ in mind, the unique one-of-a-kind Reborn Unisex Kimonos are an ode to the beauty of imperfection and longterm usage – infused with time and stories of their journey from rejection to rebirth.

Handcrafted in the southeast
Each piece in Saga’s Handcrafted Wardrobe is handwoven and handsewn with love and care in Indonesia, showcasing the remarkable artistry of the local craftswomen I am fortunate enough to collaborate with. Traditional patterns passed down through generations, are infused with innovative shapes, resulting in a unique and contemporary style.

Artist collaboration
In collaboration with Scandinavian artists and Indonesian craftswomen, Southeast Saga weaves one-of-a-kind tapestries that symbolise the transition from my Nordic homeland to my new Southeastern sanctuary. These creations are a harmonious fusion of Scandinavian aesthetics and Indonesian traditional crafts, bridging the worlds through arts and craftsmanship.
The intention is to provide the artists with a unique medium for their art, adding a tactile dimension to their creations, while celebrating the skill of the artisans.
